Objectives

Since its inception in 1973, the Ethernet has evolved into most popular and widely deployed form of network cabling today. Many of the issues related to the Ethernet are representative of other networking technologies. Having a better grasp of the Ethernet is an important step to having a more solid understanding of networking in general.
The objective of this course is to give students a basic knowledge of Ethernet, and the switching technologies required support it. In the ZCNP switch courses, students will acquire the skills required in switch product line related occupations (such as support engineers etc.), basic knowledge of features, switch-related standards, and troubleshooting. They will also learn more about the features of ZyXel Ethernet switches. These courses are ideal for professionals with at least one year of networking experience who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex networking products.
